Born and raised in Bozeman, Emily Gonzales is a homegrown Montanan with a penchant for travel. She’s lived in both Albuquerque, New Mexico for an education in natural medicine and her car for a three-month road trip across North America. Shortly upon her return to Bozeman in 2009, she transitioned from massage therapy to the therapist-like role of legal office management.
She’s worked for both private attorneys and city courts. After meeting Herman at a gas station, she began her position at Watson Law. Her day-to-day varies from training and supervising legal assistants, to drafting legal documents, to caretaking the plants. At office meetings she updates the team members on system improvements as well as their horoscopes.
When she’s hung her many hats up at work, Emily enjoys reading and running with her beloved dog, Odin. A predominantly graphite and mixed-media artist, she draws inspiration for her illustrations from her diverse life experiences as well as the work of her idol, Frida Kahlo. From driving the Alcan Highway (twice) to administrative tasks, creating art to running trails, Emily is a student, here for life’s lessons and snuggles from dogs.
